About Us

Visiting Nurse Plus is a not-for-profit private duty agency that offers caring and compassionate services to help seniors stay in their own homes, where they want to be.

Visiting Nurse Plus is the business name of Visiting Nurse Association of Southwestern Indiana which has been around since 1888. So, even though you will only see and hear the name Visiting Nurse Plus, rest assured we have the skills and experience of a well-known, long-standing home care agency that has been committed to meet the needs of the community. Our office staff has over 140 years combined experience in the home care field and our field staff are some of the longest serving caregivers in the area, providing exceptional care to our customers.

As a locally-operated, not-for-profit agency, any funds left over after operating expenses are met are reinvested in the organization-not paid to shareholders-which enables us to provide more care to more people throughout our service area. We strive to enhance the areas in which we live and work through community partnerships dedicated to high quality care; and by providing exceptional service to our clients and fair wages and benefits to our staff.

We are here for you when you need us and we provide home care services...your way!
